Born in Melbourne, Faustas Sadauskas has been engaged as a visual artist since the early nineteen eighties. He originated from a ceramics background to further evolve his oeuvre into contemporary sculpture in mastering plasticity of form through the use of locally sourced materials including timber and stone, in particular Australian marble.
His body of work consists of abstract and realist object sculptures, installations and works on paper.
He has participated in numerous group exhibitions throughout Australia and overseas, and, has completed ten sole exposes. He has lectured, published and traveled extensively.
His works are found in public and private collections, and, has completed major public and corporate art commissions for the City of Moonee Valley, City of Bayside, the City of Casey and SMA Projects Australia Pty Ltd, Jalir Property Group Pty Ltd and the City of Darebin.
Faustas Sadauskas is currently represented by Kazari Collector, Melbourne.
